Great Pizza now at CouCou Bar & Restaurant in Santa Fe: I don't know how they did it, but Denis & his wife Reizel spent a lot of time developing various recipies, and crafting their CouCou Pizzas by hand with the freshest ingredients, and now all my local friends have put it to the test (myself included) and are now declaring 'Great Pizza's also available at CouCou!
The CouCou Special above adds a very unique fresh tuna to this killer Pizza, and the taste is truly awesome; now CouCou has locals & Tourists alike coming in and letting the secret out of the box!

The Special comes with a specially made lightly whipped Garlic Sauce that is not salty or oily, and which tastes incredible on the Special, a Swedish favorite and only available at HR - This sauce is served on the side in a gravy boat, and is very, very light bodied with a subtle taste of garlic & herbs - in the images it may look heavy but it's not at all.
The Special also uses much larger chunks of beef in their pie, unlike other pizzas on the main land, so you end up just slowing down to savor it, so kudos to Henrik for creating his special recipe.
The Hawaiian Pizza is also a fuller bodied pizza than what you can find elsewhere, as they're created by Swedish Culinary Specialists - the main difference is that they are both *full-bodied* pizzas, unlike some pizzas on the main land that are lighter bodied (ie. you can eat a lot of it quicker) so that's why I say try them when you're hungry; they're really meals and not snacks.
Hand made to order, the Blue Ice Special uses fresh ingredients like specially seasoned ground beef, green & red peppers, onion, ham and herbs/spices, all on top of a bed of imported mozarella cheese that says the Swedes really know their Pizza, and that's a part of the reason that Blue Ice has the loyal following they've enjoyed for many years now.
